10 Toes are craft beer brewers that boldly broke free from the corporate chains to pursue their craft. Or as they put it “We broke free from our former lives and corporate shackles not only to follow a different path but to go walkabout and play by our own rules… or at least bend them a little.” An ethos we at REP Merch can get behind.
As their preferred merchandise supplier “the good vibe beer tribe” came to REP Merch for some classic twist pens that were in keeping with their brand’s slightly rebellious attitude.
Choosing the Right Products
Pens… admittedly not the most exciting product but definitely one of the most useful and certainly adaptable. Plus, that metallic finish adds a layer of value that makes you just want to hold it. These twist pens turned out to be a great fit for 10 Toes, have you swung by the brewery and grabbed one?
Delivery and Presentation
Pens have a high retention rate, offer a great branding area (if done right) and are at the right price point that can pass them on to ‘any’ customer.
These twist pens offer a larger barrel space which made it great for the logo, the metallic colouring made sure it stood out and was in keeping with the product (beer, usually in a metallic can). The best part? Pens get held onto and kept – ensuring that the brand exposure increases with every signature and jotted-down note.
Client Feedback
The rule of 7 is based on the marketing principle that customers need to see your brand at least 7 times before they commit to a purchase decision. It’s an older marketing philosophy that still holds water. A pen with the 10 Toes logo on it is one touchpoint for their customers that they can interact with but one that they’ll have for around 8 months according to Forbes.
You don’t really think about a pen until you really need one. Chances are that you’ve got a few floating in draws, hanging on your desk perhaps? There’s also a good chance they have a logo on them. You’ve probably picked up that pen a hundred times, maybe more. That pen is a brand ambassador full of use (and ink) imparting in some small way your brand into the mind of your client again and again and again.
It’s hard to say exactly what 10 Toes thought of their new pens but the word used was ‘stoked’!
